They are called Baby Plants because they are, in fact, newborn plants (just a few days old) and are born Vivai Milone's micropropagation laboratory, a veritable plant nursery.

In vitro Baby Plant

In vitro is a variety found in a container with a cork. It must remain closed because a suitable environment has been created inside to allow it to live. It has everything it needs to grow in its gel, but not forever. When it runs out of reserves, it needs to be planted and gradually adapted to external conditions.

In vivo Baby Plant

In vivo, on the other hand, is a variety with an open container. This fully autonomous plant is just a little smaller. It boasts a well-developed root system and, thanks to this, draws water from its gel spheres or soil, which must be rehydrated from time to time.

If you wish, you can plant it directly in your garden or in a pot.

How the idea was born
